Night-time use only.

Start with the lowest concentration strength first and slowly transition to the higher concentrations.

Targeted spot treatment regime: apply a thin layer of serum as a spot treatment to affected areas every second to third night.

Hydroxypinacolone retinoate (HPR) is an ester of retinoic acid and binds directly to the skin retinoic acid receptors which minimizes the chance of reactions. HPR has several benefits on the skin including preventing and treating ageing skin concerns, smoothing textured skin, increasing hydration, reducing hyperpigmentation, and minimizing pore size and sebum production.

The formulation is designed to be used only once or twice weekly to achieve visible results when used in conjunction with the rest of the sk.in serum range. A 1ml treatment application will last 2–4 months depending on frequency of weekly application.

sk.in avenge | HPR contains extremely high concentrations of hydroxypinacolone retinoate. Dr. Alek Nikolic recommends that you introduce this product slowly into your skin care regime. sk.in avenge | HPR must not be used if pregnant, breast feeding, planning to become pregnant, or using oral vitamin A medication (such as Roaccutane). With excessive use one can experience dry, sensitive, flaking skin. Do not use on overly sensitive skin types or on compromised skin such as burns, damaged skin, or allergic skin conditions (eczema, dermatitis). Hydroxypinacolone retinoate can increase skin sensitivity to the sun, so remember to always apply an SPF of 30 or higher during the day.
